As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your incredible support during our state testing weeks. Your efforts in ensuring our students arrived well-rested, on time, and ready to do their best truly made a difference in creating a calm and focused environment for our Eagles.

It is hard to believe, but we have just 8 school days remaining!

While the end of the year is always a whirlwind of activities and celebrations, we are committed to making these final days meaningful, safe, and full of joy for our students. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to close out the 2025-2026 school year on a high note.

Please note there is no school this Monday 5/25 in observance of Memorial Day.

You’re Invited: AOE Open House! 🏠✨

We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Open House on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This is a special evening dedicated to celebrating our students' incredible progress, hard work, and achievements throughout the year. It is a wonderful opportunity for your child to show you all the amazing projects and learning they have accomplished in their classroom.

We look forward to seeing our campus filled with families as we honor the growth of our Eagles together.

Please keep in mind that parking can be a significant challenge during our large campus events. We recommend arriving a few minutes early, carpooling with neighbors if possible, and being mindful of our local parking regulations to ensure a smooth evening for everyone.

5th Grade: Reminder! This week Mrs. Oshima will be holding Chromebook and Charger renewals in the library for 5th graders. Students will keep their Chromebooks and chargers with them over the summer and take them with them to Middle School. If your 5th grader isn't attending a Carlsbad USD middle school, please have your student let Mrs. Oshima know during renewals.

K-4th Grade: If your student checked out a Chromebook for homework this year, please return it along with the charger by May 28th.

The deadline to submit reservations is Saturday, May 23 TODAY at noon. Tickets will come home with students on Friday, May 29.
